Karan Johar Dismisses Rumours Of Janhvi Kapoor-Ishaan Khatter In The Hindi Remake Of Dear Comrade
Filmmaker Karan Johar recently took to Twitter and rubbished all rumours of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter being roped in for the Hindi remake of Dear Comrade
Karan Johar recently announced the Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda starrer Dear Comrade. The film will be produced under the banner of Dharma productions. It seems to have become a trend to remake films in Bollywood. Kabir Singh, which was a remake of Arjun Reddy, performed exceedingly well at the box office and seems to have started the trend. Ever since the announcement made by Karan Johar, there have been rumours about Dhadak duo Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter being roped in for the lead roles for the Hindi remake of Dear Comrade. The two have already created magic together on-screen with their debut movie Dhadak and as per rumours, Karan Johar wanted to play it safe and has roped in the two.
The buzz was not confirmed by the filmmaker yet and was only based on speculations. However, recently, Karan Johar recently took to Twitter to clarify about the same. The actor shared a post to send his best wished to the team of Dear Comrade, the one starring Vijay Deverakonda. While wishing them all the best for the release on July 26, the director also took the opportunity to share that all rumours of the lead casting is false and that no lead actors have been considered yet, Check out the post here:

The film Dear Comrade will hit the theatres on July 26, 2019, in four languages- Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu. Dear Comrade is written and directed by Bharat Kamma and stars Jayaprakash, Sukanya, Brahmaji, Rao Ramesh and Shruti Ramachandran in prominent roles.
